Imogen Moore is a soprano, singing teacher, and choral leader currently based in West Sussex. As a current fellow in National Youth Choir, she has a wealth of experience in music education and workshop leading, alongside solo and ensemble singing including recording and voiceover work.

Born in Somerset, Imogen Moore studied a BA in Music Performance at the University of Chichester Conservatoire, graduating with a first class honours degree. She then went on to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Secondary Music from the University of Chichester.

Imogen is a current fellow with National Youth Choir, a outstanding development programme for young professional choral leaders. Her year on this scheme includes working on courses with the range of choirs, recording an album of music written by the Young Composers with NMC Recordings, and taking part in workshops and performances as part of National Youth Choir’s Learning and Engagement programme.

Imogen was previously a member of National Youth Choir, where she performed a solo at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the series of concerts ‘Carols in the Royal Albert Hall’.

Imogen was a choral scholar at Arundel Cathedral where she sang mass each Sunday and recorded two CD’s, including as a soloist in Wesley’s ‘Blessed be the God and Father’ on the album ‘No Story So Divine’. Today, she maintains a regular presence at the cathedral as a soloist and member of the choir.

In addition to performing, Imogen shares her expertise as a singing teacher at The Forest School in Horsham, and Colgate Primary School. Guiding young aspiring vocalists in their musical journeys, Imogen imparts her knowledge and passion for singing, developing confident young singers. She also offers private lessons to individuals in a home setting.

Imogen takes the role of choir director for two school choirs. She leads the Choir and Senior Choir at Hazelwick School in Crawley, where she guides and inspires students singing varied repertoire. These choirs perform in numerous concerts and carol services.
